✂️ Recommended Fabrics:
• Any trouser-weight fabric of sufficient density. French terry, jersey knit, and similar fabrics can also be used. Contrasting fabric for the side stripes
🧵 You'll Need:
• Main Fabric 150cm (59") width: 1.2m – 2.1m (1.3yd – 2.3yd)
• Main Fabric 180cm (70.9") width: 1.2m – 1.5m (1.3yd – 1.6yd)
• Finishing Fabric 150cm (59”) wide: 1.1m (1.2yd)
• Stitched bias-cut fusible stay tape 1cm (0.4") wide: 0.4m (0.4yd)
• Elastic band 4cm (1.6") wide: 0.8m – 1.2m (0.9yd – 1.3yd)
• Matching thread: 1 pc
• To assemble the trousers, you will need a straight-stitch sewing machine with a zigzag stitch function and an iron with a steam function
EQUIPMENT:
In order to sew your own garment, you will need:
1. A sewing machine equipped with a zigzag stitch function (for finishing seam allowances and hemming the bottom of garments made from knitted fabrics) and a buttonhole function (for garments with buttons).
2. A 4-thread overlock machine for stitching garments made from knitted fabrics.
3. A zipper foot for sewing in hidden zippers (for garments with concealed zippers).
4. A sewing machine binding curve edge folder, which is a foot used for finishing fabric edges with piping.
5. A steam iron.
