Suggested fabrics: Dense knitted fabrics such as Footer three-thread, Footer two-thread, Fleece, Ponte, Scuba, Sweatshirt Fleece, Double Knit, Jersey. The trousers in the photo is made of three-thread cotton footer.
Fabric requirements: 180cm (70.9”) wide: 1.3-1.7m (1.4-1.8yd). 150cm (59”) wide: 1.6-2.4m (1.5-2.5yd).
Notions: Matching thread - 1 pcs (4 pcs for 4-thread overlock). Elastic 4cm (1.6") wide elastic band: 1m - 1.2m (1.1-1.3yd). Stitched bias- cut fusible stay tape 1cm (0.4”) wide - 0.4m (0.5yd).
EQUIPMENT:
In order to sew your own garment, you will need:
1. A sewing machine equipped with a zigzag stitch function (for finishing seam allowances and hemming the bottom of garments made from knitted fabrics) and a buttonhole function (for garments with buttons).
2. A 4-thread overlock machine for stitching garments made from knitted fabrics.
3. A zipper foot for sewing in hidden zippers (for garments with concealed zippers).
4. A sewing machine binding curve edge folder, which is a foot used for finishing fabric edges with piping.
5. A steam iron.
