👗 Style Features:
Women’s bell-shaped skirt. Without darts, Waistband-free with a facing. Side closure with a hidden zipper. No pockets. Unlined.
The skirt shown in the photo is made from artificial silk with a weight of 150 g/m.
Model's measurements: Height - 175cm (5’9”), Bust - 85cm (33.5”), Waist - 66cm (26”), Hips - 89cm (35”).
Skirt size - 8 UK.
✂️ Recommended Fabrics:
Any dressy blouse satin, satin, silk, or other suitable fabric for bias cutting.
🧵 You'll Need:
• Main Fabric 150cm (59'') width: 1.6m - 2m (1.8yd - 2.3yd)
• Interfacing 150cm (59") width: 0.2m (0.3yd)
• Stitched bias- cut fusible stay tape 0.5cm (0.2”) width: 1.5m (1.6yd)
• Hidden zipper 18cm (7.1") - 1pcs
• Matching thread: 1 pcs
• To assemble the skirt, you will need a straight-stitch sewing machine with a zigzag stitch function, a foot for sewing in a hidden zipper, and an iron with a steam function
EQUIPMENT:
In order to sew your own garment, you will need:
1. A sewing machine equipped with a zigzag stitch function (for finishing seam allowances and hemming the bottom of garments made from knitted fabrics) and a buttonhole function (for garments with buttons).
2. A 4-thread overlock machine for stitching garments made from knitted fabrics.
3. A zipper foot for sewing in hidden zippers (for garments with concealed zippers).
4. A sewing machine binding curve edge folder, which is a foot used for finishing fabric edges with piping.
5. A steam iron.
