👗 Style Features:
Dress - a fitted turtleneck silhouette without darts. Midi length. Without lining, without pockets.
The dress in the photo is made from wool/viscose knit fabric.
Model's measurements: Height - 180cm (5’11’’), Bust - 85cm (33.5”), Waist - 62cm (24.4”), Hips - 89cm (35”).
Dress size in the photo - 8 UK.
✂️ Recommended Fabrics:
Any medium-weight knit fabric. Knitted fabrics, viscose or cotton jersey. Any woollen and semi-woollen knitted fabrics are also suitable. You can use ribbed cotton.
🧵 You'll Need:
• Main Fabric 150cm (59’’) wide: 1.2-1.9m (1.3-2.1yd).
• Matching thread - 1 pcs (4 pcs for 4-thread overlock).
• For assembling the dress , you will need a four-thread overlock and a straight stitch machine, and an iron with a steam function.
EQUIPMENT:
In order to sew your own garment, you will need:
1. A sewing machine equipped with a zigzag stitch function (for finishing seam allowances and hemming the bottom of garments made from knitted fabrics) and a buttonhole function (for garments with buttons).
2. A 4-thread overlock machine for stitching garments made from knitted fabrics.
3. A zipper foot for sewing in hidden zippers (for garments with concealed zippers).
4. A sewing machine binding curve edge folder, which is a foot used for finishing fabric edges with piping.
5. A steam iron.
