👚 Style Features:
This women's top pattern features a semi-fitted cut on the bias. The neckline is angular. The top has side darts; the upper back, neckline and armholes are finished with piping. No fastening.
The top in the photo is made from synthetic silk with a density of 150 g/m.
Model's measurements: Height - 179cm (5'11"), Bust - 82cm (32.3"), Waist - 59cm (23.2"), Hips - 86cm (36.8"). Top size - 8 UK.
🧶 Recommended Fabrics:
Any dress blouse satin, satin, silk, or other suitable fabric for bias cutting.
🪡 You'll Need:
• Main Fabric 150cm (59") width: 0.7m – 1.1m (0.8yd – 1.2yd)
• Interfacing 150cm (59") width: 0.3m – 0.4m (0.4yd – 0.5yd)
• Stitched bias-cut fusible stay tape 0.5cm (0.2") width: 1m (1.1yd)
• Matching thread: 1 pcs
• To assemble the top, you will need a straight-stitch sewing machine with zigzag stitches for overcasting the edges, one-sided folding binder, and an iron with a steam function.
EQUIPMENT:
In order to sew your own garment, you will need:
1. A sewing machine equipped with a zigzag stitch function (for finishing seam allowances and hemming the bottom of garments made from knitted fabrics) and a buttonhole function (for garments with buttons).
2. A 4-thread overlock machine for stitching garments made from knitted fabrics.
3. A zipper foot for sewing in hidden zippers (for garments with concealed zippers).
4. A sewing machine binding curve edge folder, which is a foot used for finishing fabric edges with piping.
5. A steam iron.
